Lindsey is a professional artist with years of training and teaching experience. She holds a Master’s degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from Penn State.
With extensive experience as an educator, Lindsey has taught drawing and painting at the college, high school, and elementary levels. Her teaching focuses on helping students master foundational techniques while developing their individual creative voices.
Lindsey is highly skilled in teaching a range of artistic techniques, including:
Drawing: Observational drawing, light and shadow techniques, and figure drawing.
Painting: Working with various materials, particularly oil paint, along with color theory, color mixing, and creating textures.

She guides students in creating standout works for their portfolios and provides feedback on artist statements and application essays to strengthen their submissions.
